How to set up Rich Pins on your WordPress blog:
If you are into Pinterest, (and if you have a blog or an online business, then you definitely should be), I’m sure that you have heard of Rich Pins.
Rich Pins are pins that show additional information, or metadata, on each pin. This gives the viewer a fuller experience and increases engagement with Pinterest pinners.
Rich Pins show metadata directly from your blog. When you apply for this, anything on your blog that has metadata will become a Rich Pin when a reader saves it as a pin.
Enabling Rich Pins will make your pins stand out to pinners on Pinterest. This will result in more repins and more traffic to your blog.
There are 4 types of Rich Pins: app, article, product and recipe pins.
Rich Pins are easy to enable on your Pinterest account. Follow these simple steps if you have a WordPress blog:
1. SET UP OR CONVERT TO A PINTEREST BUSINESS ACCOUNT:
To enable Rich Pins on your blog or website, you have to first set up a Pinterest Business Account.
This is actually simple to do. You may already have a Pinterest personal account and if that is the case, you should convert your Pinterest personal account to a Pinterest business account.
