10 IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO AFTER LAUNCHING
YOUR NEW BLOG
So you did it…you launched your blog! Congratulations!
If you did things in the right order, then you’ve already done some of the work. You should have already written a good number of blog posts before you launched your blog. So what do you do now?
There are 10 important things to do after launching your new blog:
1. WRITE MORE BLOG POSTS AFTER LAUNCHING YOUR NEW BLOG!
Now is not the time to slack off. Now is the time to put the pedal to the metal! Go ahead and continue to write blog posts in your niche. Having a stockpile of completed blog posts will make it easier to get on a publishing schedule. How to write a killer blog post
Be sure to fully research your topic and implement keywords for SEO as you go along so that the post is ready to be published when you need it.
2. DECIDE WHAT YOUR BLOGGING SCHEDULE WILL BE.
Will you publish daily? Every other day? Weekly? Monthly?
Set a schedule, brainstorm for more post ideas, and plan your posts. Download our post planning pages to help with writing your blog posts.
After launching your new blog, commit to a publishing schedule and have it in writing. This helps you to stay organized and keeps you on a publishing schedule that your readers will begin to expect from you.
Set a reasonable goal that you will be able to meet.
3. WORK ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES:
Set up your social media profiles for your blog. Pinterest brings us a large amount of traffic every month, so we recommend that you put most of your energy into that one!
As you start building your blog, go ahead and set up a Pinterest business account and enable rich pins. To do this, log in to your Pinterest account and go to the section that is labeled, “Pinterest for Business” and follow the instructions.
Go ahead and set up your Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or any other social media that you plan to use in conjunction with your blog.
4. START PROMOTING YOUR POSTS TO GROW AN AUDIENCE.

Use your Pinterest account to promote your blog posts. Create attractive pins with interesting titles to draw attention and to drive traffic to your posts.
Craft a pinning schedule that combines manual pinning with automatic Tailwind pinning. It has been proven that combining manual pinning with automated pinning gives the best results.

5. JOIN PINTEREST GROUP BOARDS.

Think about it like this: the people who are interested in your content enough to share their e-mail address with you are usually the ones who will continue to be interested in what you have to say.
Your information helps them to solve a problem or helps them in their own business in some way. Respecting and appreciating your followers will go a long way in building trust and in fostering lasting business relationships with them.

8. CREATE OPT-INS OR CONTENT UPGRADES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO EACH BLOG POST.
One way to grow an e-mail list is by using content upgrades or opt-ins. A content upgrade is something extra that you give your readers in exchange for their e-mail address.
This should be something that is not found elsewhere on your site, but something that is extra, or a little special, that your readers would find helpful.
